Red Rock Software Releases DeltaGraph Automator Action for Use with Mac OS X, 10.4 "Tiger" DeltaGraph Automator Action Speeds Common Graphing Tasks without the Need to Script SALT LAKE CITY (July 11, 2005) – Red Rock Software today announced the immediate availability of DeltaGraph Automator Action – an optional add-on to Red Rock DeltaGraph 5.6 for the Mac. Specifically developed for DeltaGraph customers running Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger", DeltaGraph Automator Action provides a simple solution for automating repetitive graphing and charting tasks. The new DeltaGraph Automator Action is designed to offer full support for the Mac OS X v.10.4 Automator feature, allowing customers to create workflow files that perform batch operations on DeltaGraph documents without having to learn a scripting language. The software allows customers to develop a broad spectrum of 2D and 3D graphs and charts. Data is imported via the Finder Automator Action. Next, the DeltaGraph Automator Action provides options for chart type (any chart available in DeltaGraph, including library templates), storage location and output format (EPSF or PDF). For customers requiring other output formats, the Preview Automator Action provides numerous file types including BMP, PICT, JPEG, JPEG 2000, TIFF, and PNG. In addition, DeltaGraph Custom Library templates can be applied to data used with the DeltaGraph Automator Action giving users the ability to create charts with the exact same layouts, colors, text treatments, etc. Furthermore, DeltaGraph Automator workflows can be saved as an application allowing users to simply drag and drop data files onto the DeltaGraph Automator application to create the exact chart desired.
