Upgrade to DeltaGraph 5.4 Debuts New Windows XP Compatibility and Improves Productivity with Integrated Publication Features for MS Office and Adobe Users.

SALT LAKE CITY (May 11, 2004) — Red Rock Software today announced the immediate availability of Red Rock DeltaGraph® 5.4 for Windows®. The latest upgrade to their award-winning charting, graphing, and data analysis software is now ready for Windows XP and significantly improves the ability for researchers, analysts and marketers to create and publish professional-quality charts and graphs.

"We are very excited to deliver this release of Red Rock DeltaGraph 5.4 for Windows", said Craig Hopson, CEO of Red Rock Software. "By focusing on quality, and on features within Red Rock DeltaGraph that improve the graphic production workflow, Red Rock DeltaGraph is positioned to increase user productivity for anyone using Red Rock DeltaGraph in a Windows environment".

Red Rock DeltaGraph 5.4 for Windows combines powerful statistical tools and data analysis features with stunning data visualization and graphic production capabilities. With over 80 chart and graph types and more than 25 analysis tools to choose from, researchers, analysts and graphic designers are able to quickly convert raw data into colorful charts and graphs – adding both impact and insight to their data. All charts and graphs can be professionally rendered directly from Red Rock DeltaGraph using PANTONE™ color matching to ensure colors in print match the colors on screen.

This newest version of Red Rock DeltaGraph for Windows is designed to integrate well with Microsoft® Office, Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe InDesign®, Adobe® Photoshop®, and QuarkXPress®. It works directly with Excel files for data; exports in MS Office-friendly formats such as WMF; and supports EPS, TIFF and others file format exports for integration with Adobe and Quark® products.

In addition to the enhancing interoperability between products, Red Rock DeltaGraph 5.4 charting, analysis, and print features are optimized for performance on Microsoft Window 98, 2000, and XP. Many other features including user-defined curve fits, text editing and formatting, patterns in printed and exported images, data sheet alignment, conversion of DeltaGraph legacy file formats, selection of chart objects, and printing and exporting chart symbols have also been addressed in this release.

“Red Rock DeltaGraph 5.4 for Windows is a positive step forward from the older version 5.0 for Windows.” said Dr. Joel Smith, PhD., research fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. “The release is more Windows-friendly and contains better text formatting that make it easier to customize my charts. The bottom line is that this version allows me to be more efficient in presenting my research.”
