| Who we are Since October 1994, Red Rock's engineers have been collaborating on the specification, design and delivery of the highest quality software. Our focus on application development has provided software solutions in the following areas: Scientific/Medical, Publishing, Multi-Media and Office Automation. Our team averages over ten years of experience in application development. From working on projects of a million lines of code to desktop and web applications, we have strong experience in the complete software life cycle, including specification, design and implementation. But, we’ve grown, both in numbers and range of projects. Today, Red Rock is focused on providing a full range of Macintosh (Classic and OS X), and Java solutions including QuickTime streaming media solutions, QuickTime media authoring tools, medical and scientific analysis tools, client and server side Java development, desktop applications, workflow management tools, and porting Windows™ applications to the Mac. What we've done Really understanding the latest and coolest technologies and being able to use them in the right way at the right time is crucial to developing a successful product. Our engineers love to keep up with the new stuff, but they also know what it takes to deliver real products. We'll apply the best technology to the problem at hand. Object-oriented analysis and design methodologies are used as a matter of course, for both in-house and for-hire projects. We’ve been using frameworks for development pretty much since they were invented. (We may not get much call for it now, but we’re even familiar with TCL.) Our engineers have in-depth knowledge of MacApp that goes back to version 1.0, and we’re currently working on some projects using the latest version. Of course, we are proficient with PowerPlant too. And, now that OSX has arrived, we are developing Cocoa-based applications.
